How to connect Shopify

Please follow the steps below to create and install the custom app.

Step 1: Access the Shopify App Settings

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin. https://admin.shopify.com

2. Search for Apps.

3. Click Apps and sales channel settings.

1. Click Develop apps.

1. Click Build apps in the dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New App

1. Click Create an app.

1. Enter any name for the App name.

1. Do not modify the App URL.

1. Click Configure Admin API scopes (Select scopes).

1. Enable the following permissions:

   1. content

   2. read_content

   3. write_content

1. For the URL field, enter our provided link in the Redirect URL field

https://api.pipedream.com/connect/oauth/oa_g5KiBG/callback

1. Click Release to activate the app.

Step 3: Version Settings

• There may be a Version name field. You may leave this blank if you prefer.

Step 4: Configure Distribution

1. Go to Home.

1. Click the small icon to proceed.

1. Select Custom distribution.

1. Click Select custom distribution.

1. Enter your store’s domain.

2. Click Generate link.

1. Copy the generated Install link.

Step 5: Install the App

1. Open the generated install link.

2. Click the app.

1. Click Install to complete installation.

Step 6: Confirm Installation

1. Return to the Developer Dashboard.

2. If it shows Install: 1, the app has been successfully installed.

Step 7: Retrieve API Credentials

1. Go to Settings.

2. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

1. Paste them in Workfx AI seo-geo agent securely.

Your Client ID and Client Secret are sensitive credentials.Please store them securely and do not share them publicly.
